Our Mission

So….. as promised in the previous blog post we can now reveal our company mission statement.

First of all, though, a bit of background to this has been done. For those of you who read our previous blog ‘Keeping FJM Moving Forward’, and even for those who did not (please go back and read now!!!! :p), the team have been putting in a huge amount of effort to identify the best products, best practices and really drill down how we can give the very highest quality to our customers every time.

This has led to us tightening our relationship with ATAG Heating Technology, our amazing boiler manufacturer who, we believe through extensive research and testing, supply the best boilers available to our customers. We are combining their boilers and smart technology products in such a way to give energy efficient solutions that are hard to rival, let alone beat.

We have a young but ever-growing relationship with IMI Hydronics, an engineering company who are now our preferred supplier for a lot of our brass goods including heating filters, de-aeration systems and thermostatic radiator valves. The level of engineering, quality and reliability in their products is way beyond what you will get from your local DIY and plumbers’ merchants.

The fittings, jointing methods, pipe insulation, clips, and consumables we use have all been looked at and improved upon in a massive way, so our customers get that top end finish backed by sound engineering knowledge and education.

We can now honestly say:

‘EVERYTHING we do has a reason, underpinned with high quality products and knowledge on how to fit to the highest of standards.’

Suzy, in the office, is never seen but each one of our customers always tells Pete and I just how lovely she is on the phone. Suzy is always looking to improve herself and the customer service we offer. She may be a rare sight but she is the glue that keeps this company functioning efficiently and to the highest of standards.

So over the past few weeks, I asked Pete and Suzy to think about what they do, what we do and just bullet point the things they do, want to do, use etc etc in order for us to produce a company mission statement. Away they went and both have come back with great lists and feedback as to what they see for us as a business. It has left me with great pride in having these guys with me, I see them as my business partners more then employees because we all need to come together as partners in order to make this business what we want it to be.

So, it gives me even greater pride to reveal the mission statement for FJM Plumbing & Heating Ltd. It has taken several hundred drafts, cups of tea, cake, a bacon sandwich, and a good few packets of chocolate buttons to finalise. But I feel we have something we can all look at and know the direction we need to heading in.

FJM Plumbing & Heating Ltd.’s vision is to be the leading service provider and representative for our industry in our local region of Kent and the South East.

We strive to be there when our customers need us. From first point of contact being answered quickly and in a friendly manner, through to our engineers arriving on time as expected being polite, clean, communicative, respectful, efficient and honest in our customers’ homes.

Our engineers are trained, continuously learning, attending educational courses and have the experience to demonstrate the highest quality standards of workmanship to current regulatory standards and even beyond where possible.

We are always searching and testing the market extensively to source and use the highest quality materials and products possible to use in our customers’ homes to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and reliability, all backed with long guarantees.

We want to do our bit for the planet by promoting the absolute best energy and resource saving technologies available. By combining our ever-growing knowledge with technology to improve the energy efficiency credentials of our customers’ homes we are satisfied that we can make a real difference to our planet and customers lives in their homes.

Thank you for reading as always and I hope everyone is keeping safe!!!
